A FABULOUS ERA OF YACHTING

It began with my movie “La Nioulargue” being shown at the ‘Pantaenius evening’ in 1993 in the Düsseldorf Yacht Club on the sidelines of the “boot”. After having returned to this annual event and its community more than 30 times, I was asked to make a kind of “best of”-movie for the 2025 event. I roughly put together a few scenes from the films I had shown in my editing software: 14 hours runtime. The living mirror of an incredible era in yachting history. After a lot of editing and killing a lot of darlings, what was left could only be described in one title: “A Fabulous Era of Yachting”. I am very grateful to have been allowed to document all of this and hope you will enjoy this celebratory long form supercut.
